Swell Bar & Kitchen

Renovating a bar and restaurant in the centre of Truro, creating an industrial chic space that is light and airy by day and atmospheric at night.

Cassandra Chessum Interior Design (CCID) designed and renovated the interior and exterior for Swell Bar & Kitchen in Truro, Cornwall. The property was tired and lacked kerb appeal, so we designed an industrial chic foodie space for customers to hang out in, right in the centre of Truro.

As well as designing, sourcing and procuring the interiors for the main restaurant, bar area, hall and customer toilets, CCID also secured the tradespeople to undertake the renovation and project managed the work.

CCID created a space that welcomed customers. It was light and airy during the day and atmospheric at night. There was a limited budget for the renovations, and the project was delivered on time and to budget.

We used CCID to design the interior and exterior of our new Bar & Kitchen in Cornwall. Although there was a limited budget for the renovations, we were very impressed with the result. The project was delivered on time and on budget. CCID absolutely smashed the brief. It was a pleasure to work with Cassandra and her team.
